Cyber shot dsc is a line of digital cameras that Sony company produces for more than 10 years, since 1996. It was started with camera dsc f1. In that time digital cameras were a completely new category of technological products and Sony was among the first who had engaged in their production. The latest elaborated compact cameras to this day are dsc-T100 and dsc-W200. Despite the wide range of distinctions and variabilities between cameras within the cyber shot line, they have much in common. The use of CCD matrices of own manufacturing; sony-brand image processing; the use of lithium batteries of own production as well as the use of flash memory card of Memory Stick or Memory Stick Duo standard, also developed by Sony. In latter years, only Memory Stick Duo cards, with variations Memory Stick PRO Duo and MagicGate Memory Stick Duo are in use. The possibility of Memory Stick cards applying remains, but you have to use a special adapter, which is on separate sale or is supplemented as an addendum to the memory card. Some users consider it to be a weak point of cyber shot sony cameras, as standard card-riders don't allow to use of Memory Stick Duo cards directly, but only through an adapter too. But, once again, it is just enough to have an adapter, so that to have no problem.

To make a decision and choose a particular series is not really that easy. It often even fails reading many reviews and comments on many forums. In principle, there is a simple explanation. Digital cameras manufacturing has reached such a level of technology, that the differences between the models that directly affect the quality of photo images are minimized. The quality of images, of course, is the first factor the camera must be appraised with. But it is not unusual that the feedbacks about the same model are: "rather bad images" and "expectations are justified fully, price-quality ratio as compared to (another brand) is excellent". Or about another model : "The main disadvantage of the camera - unquality pictures." And the following comment next: "You can finally make not bad pictures!! Generally satisfied as a horse!!!". And this comments write real people who have bought and tested the camera. There is a second objective reason too that the feedback on the same cameras often differs greatly. No one yet repealed this simple truth that the quality of the photo image depends not only the camera's performance, but also on the photographer's skills. Even if the set of additional functions which allow depart from automatic settings of the camera is not wide, all the same, the photographer has some potential of choice, and his operations would define the quality of the photos. Comparing images made in the automatic mode and in a more or less normal light conditions (or with use of the flash), it would be difficult to find differences among not only the modern cameras from different manufacturers (not to mention among the various models of the same manufacturer), but among cameras of different price ranges.
